D&L Supply has an immediate opening for an entry level inside sales/ administrative assistant. This is a full time office position located in our corporate headquarters in Lindon, Utah. This role will involve assisting the inside sales staff in the processing of orders, as well as providing general administrative help as needed.


  • Interested parties should have some inside sales and/or administrative experience.
  • Experience in the construction field is a plus.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Must function very well in a team environment.
  • Must posses excellent phone skills.
  • A positive attitude is a MUST!

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare written quotations, work orders and any related data entry that is required.
  • Offer technical assistance to sales staff and customers.
  • Promote and effectively sell company products and services by using established company sales techniques.
  • Clarify and fulfill customer requests/needs by presenting various selections of products and services, providing pricing information as requested.
  • Understand and respond to customer delivery needs by interfacing with internal departments and coordinating through scheduling.
  • Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner.
  • Create “customized” proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner. • Maintain accurate and workable records of jobs.
  • Assist with maintenance of the database as it relates to customers, new leads, quotes, costing and product information.
  • Complete and submit detailed reports each week on sales activity, outstanding quotes, quotes secured and lost, as well as new customers, sales leads and product interests.
  • Other support functions as required by the Division Manager
  • Review open order aging list and work with suppliers and customers to ensure proper communication regarding order delivery.
  • Attend monthly sales meetings as required with organized commentary on past and future market conditions.
