Job Description

D&L Supply is seeking an Accounting Clerk to perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling accounts payable and receivable accounts, invoicing customers, ensuring prompt payment of invoices, posting cash to the general ledger and maintaining a financial filing system.


  • Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
  • Experience in data entry
  • Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Detail oriented
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as strong verbal and written communication skills is a must.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assisting the staff accountant with HR and Payroll responsibilities.
  • Researching and supplying documentation to the sales staff as needed.
  • Generating reports for management.
  • Perform all other office tasks as needed.
  • Reconciling accounts payable and receivable accounts.
  • Invoicing customers, and ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
  • Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards and maintaining a financial filing system
